Good mp3 editor?

    Anyone know if there's a good mp3 editor out there? All I want to do is split 1 long mp3 into separate tracks?
    I wasn't sure if this was the right forum to post in....

    Cool Edit Pro is an excellent bit of software and would do what you want :)

    MP3 Direct Cut will do the job very well and without any loss in sound quality as it does not decode and then re-encode the track when editing; it's also free :smashin:
