    Hi!

I am thinking about buying a new dvd player (I have a "cheapest one")...
I have in mind the Yamaha dvd s540, because of its price, specs, looks...
But then I saw a KISS dvd player that does divx for the very same price...
I am presently connecting my dell laptop to my tv in order to watch my divx stuff.
The question is, would it be better to change for the yammy, keeping divx in my laptop, or to go for the all in one?
    Thanks.

    No comments about it? :-(
I really would like some opinion, since my dvd player is really bad. I bought a Queen dvd and I can't play it, but it works in my laptop...

Is this the Greatest Hits DVD 1 &2 with a DTS 96/24 soundtrack. If so I had a few probems playing this dics with the DTS soundtrack enabled. All is solved now with my Arcam DV89.

Yes, it is. I was now able to play it (and I must say "wow!, what a sound" ). It is funny... If I turn the player on and just try, it won't work, but if I play any other dvd before and, without turning the player off, change the dvd and try to play Queen's dvd, it works.
So, what do you think, better an all in one solution like this KISS, or go for the Yamaha s540 and keep divx played by the laptop?
