Hopefully someone can help me here....

Sky Broadband Max (ADSL2+) is the problem .
My router tells me I'm connected at 14Mbps, fine. Yet it takes me about 10minutes to load up google.co.uk and my Xbox 360 and standalone internet radio think I've moved to dial-up the connection is so bad.
Attenuation is 30.7db and noise 7.1db, upstream about 750k which is fine.

I've tried the following with no difference:
    1) connecting everything wired
    2) connecting the router to the master socket
    3) changed all the cabling
    4) had sky reduce the speed down to 8Mbps ceiling to avoid the connection renegotiating
    5) changed the micro-filters
    6) got micro-filters in both telephone sockets in the house
    7) restored the router to factory settings.
    8) only have one wired internet device running at any time
    9) made sure nobody else is using the connection ie changed WEP protection.

What the **** can be wrong then?

Sky say they have tried all the tests at their end and found no issues.

Either sky have installed a ZX81 server or is there a BT line problem?

    Anyone got any ideas?
I need help as my wife works from home and she needs our Broadband to work.

Don't use WEP protection, it's easily broken. Use WPA/WPA2 instead.

What's your ping like, and what happens if you run a traceroute (to, say, avforums.com)?
