£20 for the mittens and the purple Puma hat?
Is the UA purple top the 'storm' range and is it a softshell material or fleece like?

The UA top I'm pretty sure was part of the cold gear storm range and is a fleece like material with a drawstring.

Offers too low I'm afraid. Mitts are only 2 months old and the hats only been worn once.

What about adding the UA top in for £45 then? Assuming that the mitts are the same as these.
I can get the UA top new for £34.99.
Saves you packing them in the case :)

    Or anything for trade here

In the interest of transparency i'm posting here my conversation with the seller that we're having via text message. The items arrived today after being posted on Saturday. The problem i have is with the Mitts. They were advertised as '2 months old' in post #2.
Having checked them over the right hand drawstring has snapped and has had a 'temporary' repair done and the left hand glove has some 'pooking' on the inside. I would expect gloves at 2 months old to be in as new condition.
I'm awaiting the sellers response to my photos which i have also uploaded here.

    How it should be -

I have to agree that those pictures do not display Mittens that I would consider as being 2 months old. The fluffing and bobbling on the inner material would indicate that they have been well worn and possibly for much longer than the OP has stated. Irrespective of that, the damage and shoddy repair of the drawstring was not mentioned and that mis-advertisment alone constitutes a refund.

PM sent to the OP to respond.

Have to say I'm a bit dissapointed by the response on the thread as it feels like a bit of an attack on my character, especially seeing as its a mod who was the buyer.

Firstly for transparency my first response by text was 'Please send me a pic and let me know what you want to do' in my next text I said 'Let me know what you want to do in regards to moving forward'. I never noticed the damage and I certainly did not do the 'shoddy repair' so will be asking for my money back from the shop I bought it from.

Secondly they are two months old, I bought them at the end of Dec so maybe 3 months old. I would never feel the need to lie about an items age, especially such a low value one. The hat by the way has only been worn once but didn't feel the need to mention that.

Anyway I was always happy to offer a refund to the buyer after he first sent his concerns, as I said just disappointed about whats transpired on this thread.

All i have posted on thread is what we talked about via text. As this was the platform we conducted the deal, on i was merely responding back here. I did not get a text back from you when i last sent mine @13.53 when i suggested that a refund was best.

I can certainly say this is not an attack on your character, i'm happy with the other 2 items. Yes, i am a Mod but that should make no difference. I'm following our safe trading guidelines by keeping our conversation transparent.

You can imagine my disappointment after waiting for delivery, i find the item in a less than new state for an item that was 2 months old. You have to admit that they don't look 2 months old, do they?

I immediately texted you about it, sent the pics as we agreed and then posted on here what we talked about (2 hours later). It wasn't me who suggested there was a 'shoddy repair', i stated it had a 'temporary' repair done.

I'm not on here to make you look the bad guy, if you can get them exchanged for a new pair then i'd be happy to conclude our deal. As i said in our texts, i don't imagine any shop will take them back after 2/3 months but if they did, then we could still deal.

Lets see if we can come to some sort of agreement :)

Sorry busy at work. Don't get much spare time during the day.

The shop which sold them to me knows me quite well as I spend quite a lot of money with them so i'm pretty sure they would exchange them for me if you still wanted them. Otherwise you can have refund for the item, totally upto you.

I'd be happy with that outcome. If you can phone them/visit them and confirm that they will exchange them for a new pair then lets go for that.
All i ask is that you keep me updated either here or via text if it's easier (i can relay the information) on the progress.
I appreciate that we all work and making time to post is difficult, just don't leave me hanging on for days.

    Cheers.

Went in and they he said he would need to see the product and possibly send it back to Galvin first before doing an exchange.

Depending on how much messing about you want to do we can either:

    - Send them back to me then I can see how far I get with the shop baring in mind it may take a week or two with them possibly having to send them back to galvin green

    - Send them back to me and if they can't exchange them there and then ill process your refund.

    - Just do a refund.

    Sorry about dragging this out.

    Thanks for the update.

Ok, here's my counter offers -

    1. I keep them and i accept a partial refund which we can discuss or
    2. I just send them back and the refund is processed.

I favour the 1st option, saves me postage and saves you postage to send back if they did replace.

Let me know how you wish to proceed.

    Cheers

In the interest of transparency, we couldn't agree a price to partially refund so it's a full refund with all going back.
Waiting on @Zanim to reply back to my last PM sending my bank details for refund. Once received will post everything back.
I hope to have this sorted before the weekend, it's dragged on long enough!
