I just popped this disc in last night as being prompted by it being shown on ITV and 21minutes 16 seconds in where Bond is taking pictures of Famke Jensen on the right hand side if the screen is some info on the cameras status.
I can see 43.14.25 and rint out.
Whilst altering the screen format I can see at front of the 43.14.25 is a 2 but this is cut off and also the word rint should be print.
Also a few second before this in the bottom LH side is the letters mitting but even by playing about with the screen format I can only see nsmitting which the word should be transmitting.
How much can be seen by other members on this DVD? And if the word transmitting is not shown on full on anyone’s has this been cropped from the film or was it the same in the cinema?

The text you describe is certainly cropped on the DVD, but whether it was this way theatrically I couldn't say (the DVD image is actually 2.31:1, suggesting there has been some slight horizontal cropping of the theatrical frame).

The following re-sized images show the full image area presented on the DVD.

At 21 minutes ish on the left hand side I see:

The numbers as you do with the 2 cut off. I can see Print Out fine however at 21:18. A few seconds before I can see nsmitting. This is using PowerDVD on my PC.

    R2 Goldeneye SE.

[Edit] What Adam posted is what I see.

Thanks for those pictures showing my point.:smashin:
I think my screen is cropping the side of the picture a bit that is if I was to put it in 4:3 it would still be cutting the 2 off. But from the above I can see that the picture looks as though it could cropped as well.
Also I noticed on mine and in the above pictures that that circle do not appear to be concentric but a slight bit elliptical, or is it an optical illusion?

Strange, one of my widescreen tvs also crops the edges of the picture when in 4:3 mode - I notice this particularly if I put terrestrail tv on compared to Sky

On my TV I can see a bit more of the picture whilst directly changing from 4:3 to 16:9 and vice versa it is though the TV has its own edge masking system but covers up just a bit too much.
Can you see a bit more of the picture whist changing modes Lex?

Yes, it is particularly noticeable during something like the Premiership - the ITV logo in the top left corner can be seen clearly in 16:9, but in 4:3 it is cropped.

An other question on this disc at 14minuts 9 seconds in the car chase they come across a tractor the DB5 is on the LH side and the tractor is coming towards it, there is a diagonal line going from top LH side to the bottom on the right. Two seconds later it can be seen again when it shows the tractor again this time the line goes across the tractor. What the heck is it?
