I am buying a condo, signing next week, and it has a "perfect" size living-room, 15´x 24´x 9´

The same area as my current room, wich sounds great, but the old has the lenght twice the width, although attenuated by two small halls in the back...

Also, now I have 3 direct neighbours, above, under and behind, and I will only have one above in the new place, but I lose the sea view... :(

It can only get better, looking forward to move in...

    Antonio,

    You lucky so and so;)

Should sound superb, what is the make up of the floor and walls?

I'll be very interested to know how you get on.

    Regards

The floor is swedish "floating" wood, you know, wood on some insulation... The walls are brick and plaster, with a 10´window behind the speakers, my bass trap...

I will be adding sound proofing on the ceiling, because of the poor German that lives upstairs...

Do you think I will need TACT or a bass equalization... :nono:

Why the move? Your old place looked ideal.

The view of the sea is beautiful, I doubt I will ever get similar, but it is a pain not to be "allowed" to play loud whenever I feel like it...

Plus it is rented, I had to wait for the divorce to be official to buy my own home, I had to give-up enough as it was...

This is how it will look, plus heavy drapes, rugs, and my home made acoustic panels... :rotfl:
