:D

Just checked with them and the A700 isn't in stock so i'll have to borrow the A200 now :( If I hadn't sold the 350 I could have borrowed that, has live preview etc - not too sure I would actually want to use live preview though TBH!!

I've found the need for live preview many times now, if you don't really want to get down on the floor or you simply can't it's a great thing to have. Then theres macro shots, its a real pain to try and get your head down to the viewfinder.

You need an Angle Finder :)

What he said:)

Maybe if they called the Angle Finder something trendy like...

"Virtulised Viewfinder"

They might offer this as an option!

Sony are great, take a look at their website...

Scroll down to "Viewfinder Accessories". Notice the picture of the Minolta Angle Finder.....

Now click on "Viewfinder Accessories".....

And it's not there! Just two "Eyepiece Cap" parts!

The website is fantastic when customers visit the shop asking for technical specs of the DAB radios - absolutely do NOT exist on the website at all. WICKED!

Was quite pleased with the shots I got from the A200, but it felt no better than my current Sony camera - the EOS 350D is a much better camera IMO, much more scope lens/accessory wise too - would miss not having a battery grip - the only alpha compatible with the power grip is the A700 which I can't justify the price for at all!!

Will have to try out the 350 next when we get more stock in, need to see if I'd use the live preview on it or not - I find I end up being far too lazy when I don't use a proper view finder!!

Hello Sir,

Could I please buy one of your Sony VG-B30AM Vertical grip for my Sony A200 please? I think this one is compatible with the A300 and A350 also.

This is not to be confused with the VG-C70AM that is for the A700.

What, they don't make it? But my friend has one ;)

[all the new sony DSLRs have VG. they also take the same battery and all have CF card slots]

Enjoy Sony :)

I was told that by the other photographer in the store - I actually found that power grip on the website when I was looking up the specs as I went to collect the camera - funny that, huh!?

Still going to stick with Canon though and get another 350D :)
