I just wondered when most people started going grey? I'm 30 now and just glad I still have hair. But since I was 26 I have had grey hair, now however I'm going grey at an alarming rate. I caught a glimpse of myself in the cctv tv at the gym the other day and at 30 I'm turning into a silver fox:(

I've just turned 38 and have had a handful of grey hairs for a couple of years. You can only see them in the right light though as I am a darkish blonde and they blend in nicely!

I'd quite like to have a George Clooney style salt and pepper barnet....seems to work for him!

I'm balding fast, but not a grey in sight. I'm mildly ginger though so grey isn't necessarily a trade down.

Turn 40 in a few weeks, but only slightly salt and peppery which started around 30, but is increasing, especially around the temples, sideburns and facial hair (the upside down triangle patch under the bottom lip where Tony Almeida had a little beard in Season 1 of 24 is very white) ... I'm pretty sure my hairline is identical to what it was at 18, perhaps slightly thinner :)

I've got dark hair naturally and have been going grey for a few years, mainly at the side.

However, the other day at work, a customer asked me if I'd been painting as she thought I had emulsion on the top of my head ....

Pass me the "just for men"

    :(

My cousin, with jet black hair, aged 18 has had many grey hairs for 2-3 years

Oddly he blames his previous choice of hair gel (?!)

I'm 42 and started going grey in my early 20's, it was pretty gradual up until my mid thirties though.

It doesn't bother me all that much and it's only my head so far that's going grey :)

35 and not a grey hair in sight although, when I don't shave for a few days the resulting stubble is a mix of very dark brown and silver.

46, full head of very thick, dark hair and a couple of strands of grey. My Dad was the same - he had chemo at 63 and all his hair grew back even then

I give thanks for Genetics :)

Early 40's I noticed the greys coming through.
First to admit I now colour my hair on an irregular basis. Nothing OTT... just enough to keep it a bit of salt n pepper in there.

A mate is totally grey and it makes him look at least 10 years older.

What I have left is more salt than pepper. TBH it never worried me when the hair started to thin out nor go grey. Does anyone use or has used any of those Men's products to either lessen the grey or recolour? I haven't, but was curious to know if anyone felt they needed to for whatever reason.

mine started in my mid 20's at the sides, and now at 32, most of the sides are grey plus a few individual hairs around the rest of my head. Get a few grey beard hairs too. The main annoyance is that when i shave my hair relatively short, it looks uneven from a distance because the grey hair looks shorter than the black due to the colour.

It doesn't hurt and doesn't make you a bad person.

Don't worry about it as you'll have more pressing things to become concerned over as you get older.

Started 10 years ago when I was 16. Our family goes grey slowly and keeps a full head of hair - my dad started at the same age, wasn't fully grey until much closer to 50.

Most women I have er ... you know ... said they really like a bit of grey hair. No complaints here and certainly won't get hung up on it :)

Oh man, the bane of my life! My face sprouts guitar wire!

I used to be blonde but as I get older what hair I do have left (which I keep very short) is going more towards.... Strawberry blonde.... Scottish blonde... Tan.... Biege....

Started getting mine at school when I was about 15?

I can remember showing them off to the other kids saying I was growing up. Now I've got hundreds (albeit shaven) with a receding patch at the front....who's smug now??!!

I am 39 and got my first grey hair when I was 30. Ever since then though, I still only have a few grey hairs, mainly at the sides of my head.

My hair has definitely thinned, as I use to have to ask a barber to thin it for me as it was so thick, but I am still in no way balding or receding.

Quite lucky I guess. Bizarrely, I seem to get more white hairs on my scrotum then anywhere else!

My hair is very dark, almost black. My facial hair is going grey and bright orange (I wouldn't even call it ginger)

43 now and they have started coming through at the temples in the last year or two. Not especially noticeable yet, but I'm still at the stage where I pull them out when I see them! I'm sure I'll have to stop that soon, to avoid having to pull everything out.

Same age as you about 25/26..............

My grey is along the side of my head.............

My dad was completely white by his early 40s, I suppose I can expect the same.......

I keep my head shaved so I can conceal it for now...........:D

It's obviously not important for the human species to keep its coloured locks, otherwise we'd evolved with a permanent perm! ;)

I'm not sure why people get so hung up on grey hair. For me, I think of it a bit differently - it's short and I can't see it (without a mirror) so I'm not really that fussed at all. I think I'd rather have grey hair than no hair :)
