Yes I'm Homer Simpson in disguise!!!

Got back from holiday to discover 30 hours of black screen on all the recordings.

Due to the crap sky system that likes to reboot when you least expect it I've got nothing recorded.

I was stupid enough that since the last software upgrade and the box had been stable for a week I could just leave it on and set the Toshiba to turn over the channels.

    Hence advice:

Change your AV input to be Video and not RGB
Set you recorder to change channels if it can
Most important... Set the personal planner so if it does reboot (or power cut) at least it will come back on.

Sky is so far behind with the simple things, it has all sorts of fancy stuff but can't handle a reboot back to the original settings.

At least I haven't had to sit through the first 30 seconds of every programme or after commercials of a RED dot!!!
