Just thought I would mention something to all those who are busy trawling the frankly appalling mass of nonsense that is being released for pc games at the moment.

Don't panic! Help is at hand. Go budget!

My last few games purchases have been budget - Curse/Escape from Monkey Island, Settlers 4 and Grim Fandango. All top quality buys for less than a tenner each. All superb entertainment. All easily standing the test of time.

And there are more where they came from.

So don't be ashamed to buy old. It is the way to go in this current barren spell.

I just finished Deus Ex which is a 3 for £10 now and back with Diablo II for the umpteenth time. I also picked up the original one in the 3 for £10 range even though I had Diablo2 and the expansion pack and enjoyed playing all the characters to there conclusion.
