Two dem rooms. Last time I was there they had Sony VW-10 downstairs, Davis Cinema 1, Toshiba MT1 and Sanyo PLV30 upstairs. Ofcourse, you could always ring them to confirm and make sure dem room is free for your visit.

    thanks all

i think i will phone just incase.(only about 40 mins away)

havent got a clue what projector to get.my heads in bits at the moment, ive been considering far to many options so im getting myself a little lost.
never seen a projector in the flesh before,so i dont really know what to expect.
ive got about £2000-£2500(tops)to spend.wont be buying for a couple more months.
looking forward to seeing the tosh and the sanyo, they seem to be the two front runners, judging by this forum.
by the way this bb is brill, fun to read and i learn something new every day.

    thanks cod

Take the trip up to Global, I was impressed enough with their demo to get the PLV-30. 2 weeks ago they had the Sony and Sanyo on display still.

when you say 40 mins away where are you actually? I live in Hartlepool and have a Seleco CRT.
I think in terms of quality it still gives a superior picture to Lcd ,as shown at Global, and you would be welcome to see it before spending your money.
Another note the prices at Global can be easily beaten as when I was there in January they were asking 5k for the sony 10 lcd and it was then available for 4.5k and now for under4k.

    Jeff

Any news on your Rock delivery?

The Cumbrian fraternity is interested before the May price rise

I have now formally ordered a Rock -why as my CRT only handles 31 Hz I am not sure
I will collect my Rock direct from TAW when on holiday in Florida first two weeks in June hopefully Phil will show me a thing or two about how it works.
I suppose I had to buy a rock as I got a huge RGBHV cable when skiing in Lake Tahoe 4 weeks ago-then I will have to get a newer CRT in order to use it -now it all makes sense!
