Glasses for a Samsung ps51 d495

Im looking for glasses compatible with this tv. It says ssg 3100 work which is ok but I bought a pair of ssg 4100 which I thought were just an updated 3100 but couldnt get them to work. I took them back but after reading a bit I think I maybe just didnt pair them right ( althought did what it said to do) . So does anyone know do the 4100 work with this tv or did I just not pair them properly ? Sorry for being a noob !!
