I only have one Superbit title - Lawrence of Arabia on region 1 - and am not totally convinced it is that much of a step up from the standard r1 special edition that I had previously purchased.

I've only viewed a few minutes on the Panasonic AE300 image so can't be sure.

But I was thinking about maybe taking the plunge again and going for a region 2 Gladiator Superbit.

Anyone have this or have any comments on the quality?

It's better than the original release by some margin IMO, whether or not you would notice the difference, I have no idea.

    Hey, no problem. ;)

Bjoern's got this one on his todo list, if he says they are equal, I'll dig up this post and write my apology. :)
