    Hi there,

I'm currently looking at buying an amp/reciever and a set of speakers, and the whole DTS thing has got me confused.
On the back of the region 2 release of Gladiator it shows a DTS ES logo.
Does this mean that I will not be able to get DTS sound on an amp that only has DTS available?
The reason I ask is that the only amps with DTS ES available are all way beyond my price range.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

DTS-ES in any form (Discrete, Matrix 5.1) is backwards compatible with all DTS Decoders so you have nothing to worry about. If you have a 5.1 decoder only then it folds the rear centre into the Left and Right surrounds (Both for Discrete and Matrix 5.1)
