Okay, get the funny jokes out of the way :smashin:
Yes I have Girls Aloud on Blu-ray, I tend to buy any music on Blu-ray cos it's nice to have a change from movies every now and then.

Anyway, all joking aside..I put the disc in my US BD30 and it all starts fine and gets to the menus. I select Play Concert and the screens goes black and the music starts..the build up is there and then nothing, the concert starts and I can hear everything but there's no image. If I press pause or fwd/rwd then I can see the image fine.
I tried changing the settings on the player and even on my amp (onkyo) but no difference. The box states it's 1080i if it makes a difference.
Finally I stuck it on my PS3 and it's fine..very strange.
    Any ideas?

Check your output settings. Concerts are usually 1080i, not 1080p. Maybe the scaling setting is not correct for the display device.

I think they are fit, by the way. :)

That was the odd thing. I first changed the player to output 1080i rather than 1080p but no difference. I then tried changing amp to 1080i, then Through, then auto..none of these made a difference.
I may play around with it again later after I've rumbled the house with Taken ;) (my viewing for tonight)

Let us know what happens please as I am interested in this disc too. I have the UK BD30 but have heard alot that the American machine seems to have this problem with other titles such as Keane: Live and result in acting in exactly the same way.
Strange thing is, I've not come across anyone stating everything is fine on the UK BD30 or giving it a proper review.

I got the Out of Control BD a week ago and my Sony S360 gets as far as showing the time (0:00:00) and stops. Sony suggests I send the unit in to be checked, but it plays all my other BDs. Sigh.

The US Sony Blu-ray players (including the US PS3) won't play 50hz Blu-ray titles (ie. titles encoded at 1080/50i). The US Samsung players will. There are some other US players that will too, but some of the others need a 50hz capable TV when playing 50hz discs.

edit: the one sold on Amazon US says "Import" as one of the things in the "Format" bit of the product description. I'm sure that will be encoded 1080/50i.

    Hmm, OK.

Thanks for the update. I was assuming that BD sold by Amazon (US) and not as an import would be 60Hz.

This DVD explicitly says on it "PS3 Compatible", but I can't find the Hz spec. Maybe I need to go by a Samsung BD player, the TV is Samsung...

    Thanks again.
