    Hi

I've installed my new board (MA78GM-SH2), drivers installed, XP running and wanted to use the recovery facility but cannot get it to load.

The HDD is a new 500GB drive, I didn't format/partition it first, just let XP create a 50GB partition (so best part of 450GB free and not partioned).

I've set boot sequence for CD first and get the prompt "Press any key to startup XpressRecovery2", but after pressing a key all I get is a few dots (full stops) then it boots to Windows.

I'm assuming it is failing some criteria, but no idea what - anyone help?

Also getting message that SATA is running in IDE mode if relevant.

    Thanks

    Chris
