    but whilst they both stock 6600GT AGPs and X800 PCI-Es they neither stock X800 AGPs.

    Not so easy to find :rolleyes:

    I guess a passive 9600 or 9600XTUltimate aren't powerful enough for your needs either? :(

    well it's for a mate who can't find one. I may be persuading him down the 6600Gt route.

    If your mate's not bothered about a little bit of noise I can recommend the Hightech (also known as HIS) range of IceQ II cards. They use an Artic Silencer to keep the sound under 20db. I can't hear my Hightech graphics card and I consider my PC to be a quiet setup. The only downside with this card is that it takes up two slots. The card is available here:

    And is also available in an XT flavour but obviously for more money.
