GHWT Drums Dead - What Should I Get ?

So my GHWT drums that I bought at xmas have finally died.

First the red pad went, the wire attached to the back of the pad had come loose, managed to fix that.

Now the blue pad has died, and I've tried to fix it but it's not having it. So, I've thought to myself, what better reason do I need for upgrading.

So I'd like your suggestions on what to get.

I don't wanna go crazy and spend too much, so the way I see it, I could go for the ION's or a real electronic kit and plug it into my GHWT brain using the midi port. I believe this should work, please correct me if I'm wrong.

So, please let me have your thoughts and recommendations.

No mate, your spot on! This is what i do!

Make sure if you dont go down this road you at least take them back for a refund, or chance of replacement. Its no use sitting back when this happens and letting these companies take the mickey and get away with producing shoddy equpment!

once youve got the ions there is no looking back. the rb pads now look pathetic in comparison. yes i know the ions costs a heck of a lot more but the rb pads build quality is a disgrace.
