Ghostbusters Official Announcement TrailerWatch this video on YouTube
It's amazing how no one hears about this film until the last year or so with rumours etc but these games take around 2 years to create!
Just amazes me how these games are kept secret for so long, hopes its a good game though. Looks a bit more cartoonish than its predecessors (originally on ST and Amiga) loved those games
If it's connected to the abomination that is the reboot movie(as it seems to be judging by the image preview), I'll be staying well away from this and enjoy the Xbox360 Ghostbusters game.
Damn thought this was an XB1 remaster of the previous game
No excuse not to watch the new film
Just shows how desperate they are to get people to watch a film they themselves know is going to be poorly received.
Question is will they make you watch it before you can play the game?
Imagine one very long unskippable cutscene

Seems like all the pretentious moaning from people who think they speak for everyone about a movie everyone judged having not seen it has come back to bite someone.
The original ghostbusters was an all right film not worthy of its classic status.
The new one is better and even more fun.
I've(unfortunately) seen the trailer.
I've seen reviews.
And that's all I'm prepared to see of this nonsense.
This remake isn't worthy of the name.
The original wasn't supposed to be funny.
It has comic relief, but it wasn't a comedy.
None of the original characters were stereotypes.
Janine(their secretary) wasn't some dumb bimbo type.
In the remake you have a stereotypical loud black woman.
Chris Hemsworths character is portrayed as a dumb male bimbo.
There are man hating "jokes" littered throughout the entire film(from what I've heard from reviews).
It's forced comedy which isn't funny.
It's a nice fun family film.
The sex of the characters mean nothing to me - there are films with dumb blonde women. . .there are films with dumb men. In this film there's a dumb man. . .big whoop.
The four leads are all funny and smart in their own respective ways and each brings a different style of comedy to the film which is great.
The obsession with modern society judging and slating new films without having seen them is grossly unfair on everyone involved. This isn't like a sequel where you can say 'I didn't enjoy the first so probably won't enjoy this' - it's a new set of films and I went in with a clear mind as I do with every film.
You should see it and make your own mind up - if you went in to see it I reckon you'd enjoy it.
It is worrying, but have to say I agree with Soundburst. This isn't a remake of ghostbusters, but a new film.
Also, suggesting the original ghostbusters wasn't a comedy....I mean....come on.......
This is a modern take on the idea. It isn't trying to recreate the old film, just take some ideas and make a film for this year, this decade. I thought it was ok. Not amazing, not mind blowing but certainly a decent enough film.
I will say that it is one of the few films I've been to where at points the whole audience were laughing. I'm not sure it had enough of those moments but the ones it had were very good.
Theres another obsession involving classic films being remade in a very over the top politically correct way too...[emoji6] Im hoping this bombs badly so they wont do anymore...
