    I have a region 2 player, so will the region 1 disc play in my computer dvd drive? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Your PC DVD drive will have region protection.

    There are two options open to you. You can go for a possible firmware upgrade on your drive, if there is a region free hack available. The downside of this is if you do it wrong or the hack is poorly made, it can FUBAR your DVD ROM drive.

    Or alternatively, theres this piece of software that fools your PC into thinking your drive is region free even when it's not. However, it only works with the major software players so read the small print. It also cost about $40 but it's worth it.
