I don't mean to be negative but if you want

A. A site people will visit
B. Somewhere anyone will actually buy from

Then you're really going to need to start doing some serious learning, which will go well beyong what anyone can cover here or get some expert/professional advice.

I'm being a bit brutal because there's no point in spending hours now building something you'll end up scrapping when you know more.

wookielover - I see that you have grasped the first step in SEO which is to use a hyperlink to your website in a forum signature.

Unfortunately we deem that to be advertising so I have removed the link but please feel free to approach the advertising department here if you wish to advertise :)

wookielover. Right click on your website and choose view source.

That's what the search engine sees which in this case is absolutely nothing. All of your information is in graphics (that spiders can't see). I'm afraid you're currently on the road to nowhere.

Sorry!

Use the word porn a few times around the site. Should soon get people and search engines interested!

It's a raindrop in the ocean, the results take ages to show on search engines, and pages above you have absolutely no common sense or logical reason why! Its a headache, a minefield and takes hours and hours.

I got mine into the top 5! Three day's later it dropped to page 4 for no reason whatsoever!

Headache.

Learning what to do is probably the easy part, actually being able to achieve it is much more difficult.

Generally you need unique content which is updated regularly.

To appear as a valuable contribution on the web, you would need to have incoming links from relevant sources.

Take a look at the a4uforums, an affiliate community which discuss SEO heavily in SEO dedicated forums.

Perhaps Google was giving your site a chance to prove itself :)

Like stepping up in the first Harry potter to have the hat tell you which house you belong to.

Page Four!

The theory of SEO is quite simple, the reality is far more complex. Most of all, it's going to take a decent site and time.
