Getting VSX-LX70 Remote to Power on/off Panasonic PZ700B

Standard Member
Hi Guys

I've got a Panasonic 50" PZ700B lined via HDMI to my VSX-LX70 rigged up with all other bits and controlled by my Pronot RU990. However recently the Pronto is showing signs of failing so I wanted to figure out how to turn the TV on and off from the Pioneer Amp remote.

It does remote learning, but I can't seem to make it work. I go into setup, learning and then it talks about choosing a button on the Pioneer and then pressing the button on the opposite remote so that the Pioneer can learn it, but I dont get anytihng.
THe LX70 remote has a specific TV Control section which has an power on/off button and I want to re-program that ideally.

Any pointers would be greatfully welcomed.
