Getting vinal on to ipod

    Hi i was wondering if any of you ipod boffins would know the best way to get my viyal collection on to my ipod.

    I have a seperates system and was wondering how best i could get the music into my laptop and then into my Ipod.


    As i have a lot of old albums that you just cant get on cd.

    Any help would be great.

    Roxio does Easy Media Creator for Windows:

    They both have tools for digitising vinyl/tape, complete with snap, crackle, pop and hiss removers, together with sound enhancers and editing tools. I've used both and they do the job well. All you need is to get the audio output from your sound system pre-amp into your computer, then the software takes over.

    There's bound to be some shareware or freeware around that'll do the same too. Anyone else got some ideas?
