OK, quite a few people on this forum have had a Gallo Micro set-up for a while now, and I was interested in finding out how people have managed to get the best out of them. What level do people use as a crossover? I have had mine set at 120hz since I got my Denon 1803, and just wondered if people have found that they get a better sound by crossing over at 100hz or 80hz. I have only tried mine at 120hz. Also positioning. I have my front three at ear height, and slightly turned into the listening position, whilst the rears are slightly above ear height, to the left and right of the listening position. Do people prefer the sound with the rears behind the listening position, listening in 5.1? Connecting the sub. Has anybody tried connecting the satellites to the sub rather than direct to the receiver? I know that this is mainly recommended for 2-channel stereo playback, but does it make any difference? What level do people run the sub at? I have mine set at about the quarter mark, and crossed over at 120hz. Has anybody played around with any other settings that could enable me to squeeze a little bit more performance out of these speakers? I am not writing this because I am unhappy with my set-up, because they sound great. I was just interested in seeing if anybody has made any slight alterations that have made any difference to the sound. Thanks in advance.
