Getting rid of Google Assistant on OLED65C8PUA

Wildly happy with our new OLED65C8PUA, except for one thing: every time we turn it on, it prompts us to turn on Google Assistant. The very last thing in the world I want is for Google to have a networked always-on microphone in my house. Is there a way to turn this off completely and turn off the microphone for good measure? Not sure where the mic is, but I guess I could just put some tape over it.

Side note: 4K from Netflix and Amazon is STUNNING on this panel (Amazon continues to stream the best looking picture imo)

On the LG OLEDs you have to press the mic button on the remote, there is no always-on mic as far as I know
.
