I noticed this strange phenomena as well as some users in the forum. When you use a same dvd-ram in conjunction with PC to store files, the recorder will show 1hr 3min. So i stored a 1KB text file in the pc and took the ram and set timer to record for 1hr 3 min in XP mode. It really did record 1hr 3min!

I thought that the bit rate would be lower, but going to do a check, the panny went beyond the 4gb barrier(which what the limit when you do XP,FR and so on). It recorded 4300+mb! So i guess next time we can just put a dummby file in the ram in order to maximise all the space on the ram. For XP, 3 min is nothing much. But at SP, u get 2hr 7min and so on. In EP is already another 20+min more. Give it a try. :smashin:
