ive tried to put my games on the hard drive.
i manage to get one in the small partition perfectly, i can then play it from the dashboard.
but, i go and put another game on, in a different partition. F: i think.
but these games dont seem to load or even be seen by evoX!
if i load up avalaunch then it will see them on the hard drive but wont load them up.
is this a problem with the dashboard? (needs updating maybe?)
or do i have to have a play around with the evox.ini file?

Are you using the HD loader software ? If so I dont see what the problem could be. I have an uprated 120 gig hd in mine with around 20 games on it. Never had any problems.

I cant comment then. I just took mine down to a computer fair, they chipped it put the bigger HD in with all the software pre installed (XB media player, region free DVD, HD loader etc etc etc)

The HD loader software does what it says on the tin. Just put the disk in and it makes a 1 - 1 copy on the xbox HD. The only time I have had to mess with the config files was setting up ftp and connecting the xbox to the network to stream audio ./ video files.
