Getting damaged screen replaced

got q85r which despite the glass being fine, horizontal and vertical lines on the screen after sons toy hit it
Can replacement panels be found and how much have people paid?

Highly unlikely. The panel will cost pretty much the same as the original TV - even if you could find one.

Sorry, but on most current TVs it simply isn't worth replacing the panel I'm afraid.

Don’t throw it, carefully take it apart and keep the motherboard, powerboard, speakers, remote for resale on eBay. Even the covers.

You may be able to claim on your home contents insurance if you have accidental damage cover.

The remotes and one connect box themselves are perfect condition, love the metal one
Yeah contents insurance have paid out already and I've ordered an lg cx oled, feels like I'm cheating on samsung as I love them!
