I've recorded a radio show onto my Sky+ and would like to get that onto a CD to give to someone.

    Hardware:
    Sky +
    Panny E55
    PC with CD\DVD burner

So I thought about copying the programme to a DVD -R (on the Panny) and then on the PC I could 'somehow' extract the audio from the DVD and then burn that to a CD.

Does this sound feasable or is there an easier way ?

Not sure about file conversion software but I have managed to record audio from DVDs while they were playing back in WIN DVD.

Set your sound card to record from "Stereo Mix" (or mixer output), start recording then play the DVD.

If you need to edit/tidy-up the wav file do a search for Audacity which is free.

Alternatively how about long audio leads from Sky+ to PC sound card.
