If your after a PSP it depends on how much you want it as to worther you buy an Japanese one. If you can wait till mid to end of march that is when the UK one will be release price maybe between £120 - £180 and the American should bve released before the UK one unless they decide to release them at the same time.

I purchased a Value pack at the weekend with ridge racers for £290, the good thing is that whatever version you have JPN/USA/UK the games will work on all systems.

You get everything in the value pack to get you started the memory card is only 32mb so if you are planning to download movies and mps'3 to your PSP your are going to require a 512mb - 1gb memory card.

As for the language the machine menus can be changed to English, Ridge Racer has a lot of English in the game but things like continue, save game and so on are in japanese so it will be trial and error but I got round it quickly.

Try to avoid games that contain alot of text like Metal Gear Acid and RPG's as they are very hard to play as they are designed for the Japanese market.

    THE END

I'm hoping it doesn't turn out like Half life 2's release date's.

What is the battery life like on the PSP?

The PSP is selling for about £100 in Japan.

Do you think it will sell for that when it is released over here?

    Slowen, thanks for the links.
