I'm thinking of making the move to the Epson TW10 and was wondering what the best method would be hook up Sky+ to the projector?

Can I feed it direct into the projector? If so what cables would I need.

Or would I be best to take it through a secondary device such as a DVD player?

The specs for the projector are here:

The epson comes with a Scart adapter so you could connect it to the RGB output of Sky+.

The signal would still be interlaced though. The epson doesn't have top notch deinterlacing circuitry. It works best with a progressive signal. This means that your picture with a progressive scan DVD player would be better.

You could try it though and see what the results are like.

I'm currently using the same projector with SKY +
I have it connected to the Component Inputs (sync on composite?) using the supplied scart adaptor. The resulting picture is actually very good.
You could also connect your SKY + box to the projector using S-Video.
Again, this gives very pleasing results.
I view the projector from around 12ft away, with the picture projected straight onto a white wall.

What about a standard telewest box to the Epson tw10h? How would I go about it connecting it that way?

I am a student and could only afford the basic package - it's for the champs league mainly.. Watch The mighty Reds win it for the 6th time!!
