Gerry Marsden has died 78.

He and the group had 3 consecutive number one hits with their first record How Do You Do It, followed by I Like It and took a song from the musical Carousel, You'll Never Walk Alone which became Liverpool football club anthem.
Some of there other songs also hit the top ten, I'm The One, Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying, Ferry Cross The Mersey.

Saw him a few times later on his career being on the Sooty Show.

R.I.P. Gerry

And an other a family favorite originally sung by Bobby Darren but think Gerry's version better.

Sad news. Will have to tell the old man tomorrow as he used to knock around with him around town a bit in his younger days.

RIP.
