Love him . he is far more honest than half the so called "Lords and ladies " Met him a few times and yes, he can start a argument in a empty room. But he has done well for himself and has been into situations that have allowed him a better insight than most . He just does not "tow the Line"

A worthless scumbag, who filled his pockets with Saddams money. A man who would suck anyone's appendage for a vote. Even the SNP dont want him.

Can't say I'm a fan of all he says or stands for but he has more balls than every politician I've seen in recent history.

I believe the saddam money thing was BS IIRC.

I still remember his speech In front of the US senate , he was magnificent.

An old-fashion politician with a strong belief in his own socialist agenda which he pursues relentlessly and without regard to party rules or politics.

A political maverick.

A strong belief that anything he wants to do is automatically the right thing to do.
Self serving liar.
I generally find he speaks a lot more truth than most .

He's also been uncannily right in advance on various wars.

Out of interest, what lies are you referring to?

Was expecting @robel to be all over this ...
A west London Muslim extremist who travelled to the Middle East on an aid convoy organised by George Galloway has been named as a member of Jihadi John’s gang of masked executioners.

Allexanda Kotey, a Queens Park Rangers fan who grew up just two miles away from Islamic State murderer Mohammed Emwazi, was confirmed by security services as one of four guards responsible for beheading up to 27 hostages.

Muslim convert Kotey was a volunteer aboard the “Viva Palestine” convoy to Gaza organised by Mr Galloway in 2009.

Was the aid convoy organised by George Galloway?
Ah, hold on, the aid convoy was led by George Galloway.

The 'sidekick' reportedly travelled on the aid convoy led by George Galloway?
Ah, hold on, the 'extremist' who travelled on an aid convoy organised by George Galloway has been named.

(The brand media slutting its agenda as usual :rotfl:)

Yep the usual smear by association, even when that association is just signing up as a volunteer amongst hundreds in an aid convoy (which he did organise according to the story - "Muslim convert Kotey was a volunteer aboard the “Viva Palestine” convoy to Gaza organised by Mr Galloway in 2009"), then years later becoming a murderous fanatic. Heard about this on Sky News' press preview, and was not impressed by the Sun's political editor implying that it reflected Galloway's poor judgement about the company he keeps - other stuff certainly might, but not this. Party leaders have been up to worse, deliberately protecting known paedophiles.

Yes, George does lead an adventurous political life - always on the edge of what is acceptable and what is not.

So quite understand the Tory news media pimping old information and firing it off to the delight of the open-mouthed.

I don't agree with much of what he says or what he stands for but he will have my respect for going over to the US Senate and tearing them a new one. How many UK Politicians could turn around and say they've done that after accusations put against them?
