    Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me out. I have a slight bulging of the screen in the middle of the left and right sides and I am unsure what value in the service menu of the JVC widescreen set will cure this. I have managed to get the corners dead square but this irritating bulge will not improve no matter what I do. Attached is a graphic showing and exaggerated representation of the problem.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Try E-W Pin. This is pincushion correction. You may find that it affects the whole edge of the picture as opposed to just the middle but try it. Remember you can back out of the menu without saving by using the "i" button if you get it wrong. You may have to adjust it in various modes (16:9, 4:3, etc.).
