    Hello,

Just bought a sony RDR-HX1000, HDD and does both + -,

    Any particular advice?.

From what I gather anything I record and want to keep would be best recorded HQ+ to the hard dive edited and dubbed to a DVD-R?

How much should I put onto a disc, for instance if I recorded a six part 30 minutes tv series would the quality be reasonable on one disc?.

Would it be recommended that I recorded one average length film onto one disc, or would two films per disc be fine.

Assuming the quality is ok to begin with then i find to my eyes that up to 2 hours looks as good as the original. anything longer starts to show artefacts. :)
