General queries regarding signing in locally and live with 2 players on same 360

Hi.

My 360 is set up at my parent's house.

I am registered on Xbox live and my Dad is registered as a local user.

However, he is always player 1 (He sits on the left side of the screen so it makes sense for him to be player 1 in GRAW etc).

In GRAW for instance, I see him on screen as my gamertag. He earns achievements, I don't because I am simply player 2.

Could I log in as Dad and swap it all round? Is this a game or console issue for instance? I'm pretty sure Tiger Woods and Top Spin assume I'm player 1 as well.

I only stay over about once a month and I don't like to waste gaming time sorting all this stuff out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Turn two controllers on, you take controller two (top right segment lit), sign into your profile. Dad takes controller one, he signs in next. Now play your games.

Should be fine.
