Does any DVD recorder on the market do conversion from Scart to component
(thats input a SKY TV signal & convert it to output through its component output simultaneously)

    Thanks

Yes, several threads have mentioned the purchase of a pioneer recorder simply to act as a cost effective conversion box, can't remember the model. I have connected my satellite decoder to my tosh XS32 via RGB scart. I can view this on my plasma monitor via the component outputs.

Yes - the Panasonic models convert inputted sources to Component. So do most other suitably equipped models as well, e.g. Toshiba, Sony etc.
