    Hi Does anyone have any experience with the hardbutton Gemini learning remotes that Asda sell I need it to be able to operate a Humax PVR 8000 as well as TV video and DVD player.

    I had one of the LCD ones and found taht it worked OK. The learning function was rubbish though, but once it HAD learned a function it worked fine.

    I think that Gemini recognise that the learning function isn't reliable, as you have to hold the old remote very close, stay away from light bulbs, save the new codes only when you've tested them, etc........, but at the price it does make a lot of sense.
