've got a laptop with a 420Go chipset, and want to output to my HDTV. Problem is that no 16x9 resolutions are listed. Ive got the latest drivers I can find but it's not playing ball.

Is there something I can get to force resolutions? The drivers for normal nvidia cards allow it I think, but they wont work with this chipset.

    Cheers

Powerstrip is a free app that should help you out, however that 420 may melt if you try and play HDTV. No offense. HDTV Clips (particularly the quicktime ones) require meaty CPU & Graphics card.

Cant find the setting in powerstrip, but when outputting at 1280x768 the TV reckons it's 1360x768.....

Most clips are running fine. The odd one has a fit but it's rare.
