    Hi

I was wondering if anybody has one of these and also are there any places other ebuyer (£40) to get one ?

    Cheers

Is it powerful enough to play 1080p ?

ooooh yes, took a bit of configuring in various players, but plays everything I throw at it at the moment :)

Still not 100% about the acceleration, I need to run a few more tests, for that price I can't complain - it runs Oblivion in widesreen and full detail :D

Where did you get it from as I can't find it on ebuyer? Would you recommend it over the 2400 for an older PC? Does it give extra grunt? I only want it for blu ray & HD DVD!

    Thanks

Imho it was worth the extra money; mine has gone in my old(ish) pc purely for hd playback (though Oblivion is a plus) and I believe there's issues with the 2400 @ 1080p.

I got mine from ebuyer, although as it looks like my mobo may be dying I could well be selling mine (through the appropriate forum obviously mods :D)

Ultimately, the best card I've ever had

2600 back up on ebuyer. They also have a powercolor 2400 agp up there as well (but no stock). Are they any better than Gecube?

    Cheers

Who knows, but I'd rather stick with a 2600 flavour :)
