I'm not entirely sure I'm interested in yet another look at Watergate.

Thanks Cas as always, but I think I'm gonna let this one pass me by.
 
I laughed when reading a review, telling me how (American) people are still very interested in Watergate for this to be so on their radar. Er. Really?
Well, it's certainly not on mine. The closest I got was Terry Wogan (yes, Tel) interviewing the General and asking if he, regardless of investigation result, felt complicit at all? No. Of course not.
But thanks, Cas, for your tireless effort.
 
It's not exactly Washington Behind Closed Doors.
100% agree on that. It’s not even as serious as the version where Martin Sheen plays John Dean and Rip Torn Nixon. There is a humourous slant to this version with some very nasty people portrayed almost as hapless disorganised figures in some sort of comedy farce. The only really despicable figure is the Mitchell wife bodyguard. Sean Penn as Mitchell is very good and I’d never have known it was him until I read it.
