I have lifted the front decor panel off the fire so I can see underneath where the gas connection is.

It looks like it has a screw I can turn to turn off the gas.

Can i turn it off then remove the fire ?

Or am I bound to get a corgi registered person in to do it for me at an extortionate rate ?

Need to remove the fire and fireplace to lay the laminate flooring.

Cheers
Bry

I removed my gas fire. As I understand it that law requires that you have to be competent to do your own gas work, but corgi registered to do anyone elses even if you dont get paid.
