Garmin Street Pilot i3 HELP PLEASE!

not sure what's gone wrong with my sat nav but whenever I turn it on, wherever I am, it shows I'm starting my journey in Horse Guards Road in London & I'm hundreds of miles from there & have never set it to go there. I'm confused. I don't use it all the time but had it working correctly a few weeks back with no problems. Can I also ask under 'settings' & then GPS mode I can choose 'normal', 'gps off' or 'waas/egnos'. which should I be using (sorry a little thick with this sort of thing). if anyone could throw any light on what has happened with my navigation setting then I'd love to hear from you. thank you

That might be the default "home location" if it's somehow lost its memory or reset itself.
Try setting your home location on it - suggest you do not use your full home address in case it gets stolen from your vehicle whilst you're not home. Use somewhere nearby though.

thank you for trying to help me but I've now tried that, re-setting my (near!) home location but its now showing my journey is starting at Pall Mall, London! I guess I will have to get it checked out somewhere but how much it would cost I wouldn't have a clue & bearing in mind they are are now so reasonable it would probably be best to ditch it & get a new one. thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciated that.
