Gardening question - what are these little red fellas?

Anyone know what these red things are. They are on a small Lime tree which seeded from big trees on the roadside.

If you can find a big group of these little fellas running aroud, it can be quite amusing to blow on them. They all all stop instantly, before going about their business again. Quite a sight when there's 30 or more.
