    Hi,

I have recently sorted out my CD collection and started transfering it to my PC. I am using exact Audio Copy to rip the music, I am them compressing it using Monkeys Audio and playing it through Win amp. The problem is that on mixed albums i get a short gap between the tracks, does anyone know how i can remedy this? Its only a very short gap, less than a second but its very annoying!!!

    Cheers

You can use EAC to create a MP3 image + CUE sheet that will give a continuous play.

You should be able to use a gapless plugin for WinAmp that will remedy this. If your soundcard supports ASIO its an option in the ASIO output plugin. Otherwise have a hunt around the WinAmp plugin zone.

Jet audio lets you rip a cd with the option of a gap or contineous play. Good little program.
