latest addition pics 27/1/13 on post 128 link - http://www.avforums.com/forums/collectible-figures/925375-gams-collection-5.html

It's been just over a couple of years since I posted my collection here http://www.avforums.com/forums/4021691-post734.html so I thought it was about time I done an update and shared a few pics of my attic which is a constant work in progress

Not all are the greatest pics but they were the best of the ones I took today and can do some close ups of any of them if anyones interested..... don't think I could take close ups of everything :suicide:

My god..... now that is a serious collection my friend. One to be very proud of I think.

Whatever you do, don't think of moving, just imagine having to wrap and pack all those figures

The obvious Gazza question coming now, where did you get the frames from?

house isn't that big and yeah single and free :D :(
its surprising how much room you can have in an attic although quickly running out of it.... the best thing about it all being up there is I can turn a film up as loud as I like as with the soundproofing that was put in the neighbours can't hear a thing as well as a nice view when on the pc or watching tv

    WOW!!!!! Great collection.

Love the Trinity on the Duke!

Clocks ticking with Jack! you made a bit of space for him?!

See that your into a few of the 'lady' figs!!, you ever seen the Volks/Sorayama figures, although rare now, would look good in your collection!

nope not a bit..... ya want a job

have seen some volks figures now and again but they've never stood out for me but that may be due to me trying not to start new lines as if I got one I would need a few more to keep it company :D

I've got more into statues lately and really, really liking the cs moore ladies and their great detail and quality probably make that one my favourite shelf, which is why they're right beside my sofa, although everybody seems to coment on the Trinity statue no matter where it is

...... and have a couple or 3 prime position places in mind for Jack but haven't completely decided yet

bin them..... what would I want empty boxes for :eek:

:D theres access doors on both sides you can crawl down so a lot of the smaller ones are packed down there but thankfully I have a kind sister that lets me keep a lot of them in her attic, it was either that or I could have used the bathroom or kitchen or something ;)

still have a few nooks and cranny's left and plan to do a wee bit of minor cabinet modifications in the summer to allow for a few more pieces
I'm used to getting blamed for giving people ideas and as for the bill I think you may have to get in line with BuFF MuMMy and a few others for payment ;)

now you start calling me Alan :rotfl:....... by the way Mark here's the one that started gam off 20 odd years ago, a name that's stuck with me through school, college and now at work and is used by just about everybody bar most of my family

I would but I know where the box is and it isn't that handy to get to ;)

as for cost, a lot, Mark has an idea what I've spent on AV kit over the years and its more than that as I started a rough estimate on the collectibles and posters a few months ago and I didn't get all the way round as it started to [-]scare the :censored: out of me[/-] amaze me :D

at the start I had a lot of the weta Lord of the rings stuff which took up a fair bit of room but I sold most of them on just before they dropped in price as I wanted a bit more variety but can't really see me letting anything else go unless I have to

by the way, thanks all for your comments
