I'm looking at buying a gaming TV, I have 65 KS8000 at the moment and it's epic but massive! I'd like to buy a much smaller one for gaming. 32 or under. Any recommendations? Must be 4k and good hdr. I was looking at a monitor but the hdr is poor I'm reading.

    Thank you

4K sets start at 40” and none available new offer good hdr. Below 40” it’s monitors or HD only sets.

If you like your KS, then you could look for the 43KS7500. Smallest decent HDR set of recent times.

There's the Phillips monitor but it's 43". Better than any TV with HDR at that size though.

Most monitors aren't great with HDR and they have their own grades based on how bright they get.

HDR 1000 is what you want to look for.

That Philips 43" is currently the best 4K HDR console gaming monitor available that doesn't cost a fortune like the Asus ROG PG27UQ which costs over £2000+, both of those are DisplayHDR1000.

If you can wait for it the Asus CG32 is probably your best reasonably priced option, it's a 4K HDR monitor with some dimming zones, will be DisplayHDR600 certified.

If you have an Xbox you can output 1440p native, Samsungs 32" CHG70 series are 1440p displays, Freesync, HDR with some dimming zones, I believe is now certified DisplayHDR600.

PS4 cannot output a 1440p signal so your are stuck with 1080p or 2160p on PS4 Pro.

Only a small handful of PC monitors can really do HDR justice.

If you want a list of monitors hardware info keeps one, hit the 4K button then scroll down in the features list till you see HDR, say yes to that and you have a not very long list of 4K monitors with HDR.
