Custom built high end gaming PC for sale.

    The spec is as follows:

    • Intel i5 6600k Quad core Skylake CPU at 4.4ghz (over 10% faster than an i7 6700k in all benchmarks)
    • Noctua NH-L9i silent CPU cooler
    • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
    • 2 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400mhz Ram
    • OCZ Trion 240GB SSD
    • Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti 6GB GDDR5 Dual-link DVI HDMI 3x DisplayPort PCI-E Grpahics Card
    • Lian Li PC-A51B Midi-Tower case
    • Windows 10 Professional 64bit edition

4 x silent cooling fans in the case. The CPU idles at 24 degrees and peaks at 62 degrees under heavy load (stress testing). During gaming, the CPU hits mid 50s. The GPU hits mid 60s playing games. You can keep it in the 50s if you play with the fan profiles.

All items in the above list were bought in the last 5 months or so, all are under warranty, I have all boxes, proof of purchase and receipts. All items are in perfect condition.

I built this PC to play games at 4k, and it has served me well. But I very rarely get the chance to play games these days, so it gets little use. I have built myself a nice little HTPC using an i3 6100 and GTX 950 to replace it!

Using PC Part Picker today - 11th April 2016, this build would cost £1261.42 just for the parts (although I appreciate that would be for brand new parts).

I apologise for being blunt, but I am not desperate for money, so please do not bother making ridiculous offers.

Home demonstration of this PC is welcome, as is collection in person. I will use an insured courier if you cannot collect. UK bidders only.

All serial numbers have been noted for the purpose of preventing fraud.

Possibly the GPU. I'm sure a lot of this would be snapped up very quick split up although I'd understand if you want to wait for an offer for the whole thing first.

I'm open to splitting the components. The GPU was bought from Ebuyer in November 2015, still have original invoice, box, packaging etc. It is the Windforce x3 model.

Sounds good to me. Could you tell me if it's been overclocked please? Maybe add a couple pics if possible?

I think I overclocked it when I first got it for benchmarking, but for the past four months or so it has been running at original clock settings. I've added some photos to the original post. The GPU is still installed in the case at the moment. I can provide photos of the invoice and the card itself if we go ahead with the sale though.

No, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to send anything without receiving payment first. I would possibly consider it for a lower value item.

Paypal invoice is one of my payment options, which comes with full buyer protection (as per buying on eBay).

If you require any assurances as to the authenticity of this sale, you are welcome to have my home address, scanned copies of receipts for individual components and you can have my telephone and we can talk further on the phone.

    Thanks
    Stuart

thanks for your reply Stuart, from my perspective as a longer term member who has had to trust others in the past I expect the same of new members.

Best of luck with your sale

£30 posted for the OCZ Trion SSD?

It's on offer at eBuyer at the moment for £52.98 posted so will go with one of these new, if any more than £30 for a used one. Cheers

Yes it is still for sale.

If you mean PSU, it is a Coolermaster 500w 85%+ efficiency. Not particularly high end, but up to the job.

Regarding other questions, no to selling the SSD on its own.

Hi Darren, I'd say about £330 for the three components you have mentioned. That would also include the Noctua CPU cooler too of course.

    Yes lol!

I don't know much about computers but I do that lol!

So I've done a quick look for the Coolermaster 500w. Can I ask how old it is?

    Thanks.
