    Hi ppl!

I've sold my PC and bought a notebook due to space and school work, so no more gaming in the office. However, I've thought about buying a PS2/Xbox and connect it to my Sony LS65 (100Hz w. Digi+).

Now the reason why I'm skeptic is because that I've heard a lot of bad stories about gaming on a 100Hz television.

Is gaming crap if you hook your console to a 100Hz television?

    Thanks in advance

I can only speak from my own experience on a Panasonic TX28PS12 and it was extremely good (to me anyway). I think games tend to flicker more noticably than dvds/TV so i wouldnt hesitate to play on 100hz.

Im not an expert like most of the guys here though. youd be better off listening to them :)

The only problems I've heard of with consoles is when you attempt to use a light gun with a 100Hz set.

If you're attempting to use a light gun at all, well then you have a whole other set of problems....

100hz sets improve on image generaly in my experience. Esp with import games as its turned up to 120hz! (PAL games are 50hz whilst NTSC are 60hz)

You can get a light gun for the Xbox that is 100Hz compatable.
My mates Samsung is a 100hz set and I have to say the games look no different to me than they did on his old 50Hz set.

I've got the Sony KV32FQ80 which uses 100Hz technology. I play my PS/2 with no problems at all - picture perfect :)

Also, I think Mortal Kombat on the PS/2 asks if you want 60Hz - which the TV handles very well ;)
