I'm thinking about going the DLP route for HDef goodness and get the impression the 46 or 50 inch Samsungs are the way to go. Only thing worrying me now is the lag with games, although not everyone seems to notice it.

Nothing on my SP46L6HX. No visual or sound lag whatsoever with anything including games :) if you get lag then get it replaced.

I've got the SP46L6HX too and find it fine for gaming.

I guess the only reason in theory for there to be lag would be if there's a slight delay in the processing to convert the pal signal. So once the 360 is out, and feeding 720p straight in to the tele, it should go away anyway?

I have a SP46L3HX and have never noticed any lag whatsoever. After reading some posts mentioning this, i went hunting for it on a number of games and couldn't find any trace of lag.

No lag? That's good as I will almost certainly be getting this DLP as opposed to the Toshiba 46WM48 which had horrid blurring when I tested it with an Xbox plugged in with component cables. Looks like I'll be breaking a habit of a lifetime as I've only bought Toshibas before... But from what I've seen and heard of the Samsung it's the one for me!
